Why son of John H.?

I have John Edward as the son of John Wilkerson of Wilcox County born 1750 died 1737 Wilcox.  The descendents of John  Edward have him this way. I wonder why you have him as the son of John H. who is the son of Hammond. I know there is a relationship between the sons, or grandsons  of John Wilkerson, RW and would like to take a look at this.

Thanks Melissa Boyen, descendent of HAll and Salina Wilkerson RAy. I am named for Melissa Ray who was a sister to my GGrandfather.

Hello, Melissa, just to clear the air, the manager of J. E. Wilkerson's profile, John Haynes private message [send private message] has it that way. We are all volunteers here, we each have profiles we manage, but there is no corporate entity "We."

If you click on "send private message" above, in green, you can write Mr. Haynes about it and perhaps you two can straighten it out.
