I need to know who the parents are of Lois Whittier b. 1824 d. 1870

Question

Lois Whittier-272 b. 1825 d 1870 in Maine.  Am having a few problems with this person and unsure of where I got the dates from.  Is there anyone who can help me find out if there was a Lois b. 1825 who was the daughter of a Whittier and which Whittier??

Could not get this onto "genealogy help" so putting it here.  Am terrible at looking up U.S.A. material so would really appreciate any help given to me.

You are correct, this is the wrong Lois.  There were a number of people called Lois in the various Whittier families.

Am having some problems moving this information to Lois Whittier, daughter of Porter Whittier.  Using a new Catalina (Mac) program which doesn't allow me to just easily copy anything into it.  IOW  - you can't just copy directly and it seems quite complicated to me.  Getting too old but will persist and plan on talking to Apple tomorrow or the next day to see how to solve this.  Would prefer to have another OS but will see what they say.

Thanks again and I will eventually get this information onto Porter's file and his daughter's Profile adjusted.
