DNA Connections end

Elmore-160 shows me as a likely DNA Connection, however for her father Elmore-152 does not. Is that normal?

As explained here in Wikitree's Help section, DNA connections for autosomal tests get extended only out to 8 degrees (the assumption is that, beyond that, there is a possibility of getting a false positive match). Elmore-160 is your 6-great-grandmother, and so 8 degrees from you. Elmore-152 is your 7-great-grandfather and thus 9 degrees from you - beyond the limit that Wikitree extends DNA connections.

Thanks very much for the explanation.

There are two things. First, perhaps you are related to her mother. Look at the mothers profile and see if she is a relation.

Second, those are pretty distant ancestors. At a certain point, the DNA connection stops populating, so perhaps this ancestor is so distant, wikitree doesn't think they are useful. My 5G ancestors show my name so I am not sure where they stop . My 6th cousin, who shows up as a DNA match on a few sites, does not show up as a DNA connection on Wikitree, but if I go to our shared ancestor, her name is listed there as a possible AU relative.
