Good evening from Spain.

I checked this error code in my suggestions report for managed profiles, but I don't understand what I need to do to change this error 931 ProjectBox Without Project Account  for the Dutch Roots Project for the profile of Otto Cloot.

Thank you for your help.

With kind regards,

Carolina

Hi Carolina

We have had some changes at WikiTree these past few years and at our project update everything about this subject/these changes (so the difference between a sticker and project box etc.) is explained more, but in short, the profile had the project box and the project box was added correctly (!) above the content Biography (project boxes are always placed above ==Biography==, and stickers are added below ==Biography==). So this part was correct:

{{Dutch Roots|needs=Birth}}

==Biography==

But what caused the suggestion is that all project boxes (so this is how it works for all project boxes from all projects) always go together with the project account, so if a project box is added to a profile now the project account has to be added to the profile as 'co-manager' (it creates a project watchlist for all members = the project google group, and this way all project /google group members are 'sort of' added to the trusted list of these project managed profiles) as well.

To correct this suggestion you can:

add the project account as co-manager, but this mostly is done if for example a profile still needs a lot of help/Gedcom or other clean up, info sources, if there's a high risk for duplicates (patronymics often are PPP't) or if there's controversy about something etc.

But if a profile looks good (according WT/Project style rules/guidelines etc), is accurate and well sourced, so if there's no real need for project management or PPP, you can also just change the project box to a sticker (just add the word Sticker after Dutch Roots) and move it below the content biography, so in this case/profile it's changed now to a sticker:

==Biography==

{{Dutch Roots Sticker|needs=Birth}}

Stickers can be used by everyone who likes them, and without a project account added as co-manager.

If you don't like stickers or don't really want to categorize profiles further (so if you are not planning to add the parameters |jaar= and |provincie= to the sticker ones the Birthyear and place are certain), you can also just add the needs category if you only would like some help with finding a source for his birth:

[[Category:Dutch Roots Project Needs Birth]]

Hope it helps and already corrected it for the profile from this G2G (Otto) :)

Thank you Brian,

I did have a look at that but I still didn’t understand. However, the project manager for the Dutch Roots Project explained it in detail and it is all cleared up.

Thank you very much for your kind assistance.

Wishing you a wonderful day,

Carolina

I believe the issue is that you have used the template {{Dutch Roots}}, which is for profiles managed by the Dutch Roots project but the project isn't a manager of that profile. If there isn't a need for the project to manage the profile then I think you should instead use {{Dutch Roots Sticker}} - see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Dutch_Roots_Sticker#Description for examples of how to use it.

Dear Paul,

You are absolutely correct! It is also confirmed by the Dutch Roots project manager.

I would like to thank you very much for your help.

Wishing you a wonderful day.

With best wishes from Spain, Carolina
