Edmund Beard's father was John Beaird, Jr.and Elizabeth Beard.  Next was John Beaird Sr. and Francis Carraway Beaird married in Princess Anne County, Virginia.  His father was William Beard and Martha Sage Beaird.  He died in Colone, Essex, England in 6/24/33.  What finually helped me research was the fact that they changed the spelling of their name.
