I am at a dead end search. If anyone can assist, thank you very much.

Wilson Harrison Williams born 1815 (approx).  Every document that I have found, census and Military shows he was born in Tennessee.  First record of him is in Marion, Illinois in 1834 when he married Betsy Ann Wilson.   Then moved to Xenia, Illinois,  then Effingham and finally Galatia, Illinois. All his children were born in Illinois.

Can anyone assist?

I like your find better than mine, Frank! I am attempting to work from a tablet ...

Jim, here's the link if you don't yet have it. Where is your dead end exactly? His parents?

If you don't think he's on WikiTree yet, how about starting a profile for him and adding the sources you have? That would help us help you the best I feel.

I see the following record but the wife's name is Sarah. Xenia, Illinois is in Clay County though.

"United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M85V-ZSM : 4 April 2020), William Williams, Clay county, Clay, Illinois, United States; citing family 530, NARA microfilm publication M432 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

This one (1860) has the correct wife :

You made the same mistake as I did Susan having him as William Williams when he was actually

Wilson Williams . Think I was confused with him having same first name as his wife’s LNAB
Well that's embarrassing! I didn't notice that at all until you mentioned it. I really need to continue making progress on the 'I need new glasses' project.

cool easy to do
