It says:
OBITUARY -- Died, on the morning of
the 26th November, Mr. THOMAS CROS-
THWAIT aged 38 years, brother of Shelton
Crosthwait, Esq. both formerly of Albemarle
county in the state of Virginia. He died
near the town of Jefferson, on the plantation
of his brother in the county of Rutherford.
He left a widow and three children, a son
and two daughters. To his widow he be-
queathed his property; his only son to the
guardianship of his brother.
