My father was born in 1913 in Richmond, Melbourne Australia and died when I was very young.  I have the extract of entry of his birth which doesn't give me many details.  I am trying to find out what religion he was.  Any idea of how I can find that?

If you have an obituary it might name the church where his services were held, as well as the minister’s name.

He was born on 7 January 1913 in Richmond, Melbourne Australia.  His Name was Clive Newton Gahan, his father was Henry Gahan, mother Harriet Jane Gahan.  I do not know if he was born in a hospital.  He died in 1956 and another respondent said I could look at the obituary BUT I wasn't at the funeral, didn't know he had died until a couple of days later, don't know too much about him.
