Need help finding parents of Francis Beecher

Question

Francis Beecher born 1832 died 4/30/1862. Married Mary J. Gates. Was a union soldier 8th Calvary Indiana. They settled in Crawfordsville ( union) Indiana. I cannot find his parents. Please help.
