I just stumbled onto some undocumented information that leads me to believe that I might be a descendant of Richard Kennon. I have no proof of my connection at this point but I think it might be through Elizabeth Kennon born 1679 in Stafford County, VA and died April 17, 1751 in Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, VA. Elizabeth married Thomas Botts ABT 1697 in Richmond County, VA. Has anyone here heard of this Elizabeth and Thomas? If so, would you be willing to share your information with me? Thank you, Linda Gomez.

I will look into this with you, i have a great many members of the Kennon family documented, As there are many kennon  women named Elizabeth, I will look into my records for an Elizabeth that has the same birth and death dates as your subject. I have an Elizabeth Kennon, daughter of Richard Kennon and Elizabeth Worsham she was born in 1679.

there is a record of her marriage to Joseph Royal on 1 Dec 1698.I have several children documented for this couple. I do show Elizabeth outlived Joseph, so it is possible she had another marriage.  what is the name and birth date of the child of Thomas Botts you suspect is related to Elizabeth Kennon?

Thank you so much.  I didn't expect such a prompt replysurprise

My research is a little sketchy on my Botts line, but this is what I am pretty sure of:

My records show that the son of Thomas Botts and Elizabeth Kennon was Moses Botts born 1707 in Loudoun County, VA.  Moses died in 1778 in Centerville, Loudoun County, VA.  Moses.  Moses married Judith Campbell in 1730 in Loudoun County, VA.  Judith Campbell was born in 1711 in Loudoun County, VA and died in 1797 in Dumfries, Prince William, VA.

I will work on this puzzle for a bit, please contact me at to give me your direct email so I can communicate my findings to you, thank you.
