Tags is what I want to ask about

Question

WikiTree uses tags for several different purposes.  Tags for G2G are one, Tags for Wiki Genealogy Feed are another.

I would like to be able to follow some tags on G2G but NOT have them included in my Wiki Genealogy Feed. If this is currently possible, I haven't discovered it.

It would seem to be simple (for some definitions of simple) for people to be able to enter two different sets of tags for two separate purposes.

This is not currently possible.

If we were to do it, I don't expect we would have two separate tag systems. We would probably allow you to opt out of G2G or feed tracking on Special:Following.

Jamie, if there isn't a Trello card for this you could create one.

Opting out would be good. This would solve much of the perennial problem for national Project members who don't want to follow family-name tags.
