Is there a project that covers these pre-1700 people?

I want to contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree. Here are people I can add, along with dates and locations:

There are several people I can add in the CHRISTEN (KRISTEN) line from the area of Moravia, Austria. Here's one example: Birth of Balthazar CHRISTEN, 7 Jul 1669, Hansdorf, Austria, now Hanusovice, CZ, to Hannes Kristen and his wife, Anna (no maiden name specified). Godparents: Christof Winkler and Marina, Christof (illegible) wife.

Here are the sources I am using:

Czech Republic, Northern Moravia, Opava Archive Church Books, 1571-1905. Hanusovice Baptisms 1650-1784.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? This location was Austria (Sudetenland) prior to being considered Czech. Thank you!

Bravo for using a real source!

Probably the project to contact would be the Czech Roots project (add tag Czech_roots to your question). This project appears to include people from the Sudetenland area of what is now the Czech Republic

Try Zemský archiv v Opavě / The Land Archives in Opava, digitized records are here and directly accessible without having to go through signing in with FamilySearch and also including land registers and other records.

This is a German speaking area, I would use the German names: Hansdorf, Königreich Böhmen, Heiliges Römisches Reich. Bohemia and Moravia in the 17th century were a separate entity ruled in personal union by the Erzherzog (Archduke) of Austria as King of Bohemia, similar to later Hanover and Great Britain.

For the mother's family name you would probably have to find the marriage record.

As for your question, since you have primary records I don't see why you should not go ahead and enter what you have. I would just disregard the naming rules still given in the project pages. They are outdated and should be changed to go with what is found in the primary documents.
