How do I move a MSWord bio of my 2GGF to his "Biography" section on his Wiki profile?

Copy and paste.  I do it all the time.  (If you use formatting in word, that will not carry over.)

Make sure you don't have smart quotes turned on in Word because those cause problems.

There is a Microsoft Office Word Add-in For MediaWiki that can be used to convert your original Word doc to WikiText that can be used here in WikiTree.

System Requirements:

• Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP
• Microsoft Office Word 2007 or above

Usage Instructions:

• Download the Add-in (linked above), and install it.
• Open the document you want to convert and save the document as "MediaWiki (*.txt)" file type.
• Copy the text from the (*.txt) file into your Wiki page/profile.
