Looking for the father of J.L. Hardison b.1826 Maury County TN.

Question

Texas Death Certificate information of J.L. Hardison Sr. listed his father as “Jno” Hardison, year of birth as 1826, and place of birth as Maury County TN. Lots of Hardison’s in Maury County who moved there from North Carolina. I can’t find the perfect fit for J.L.’s father. My goal is to complete the link to Jasper Hardison, who is the first Hardison in North Carolina.

UPDATE: Based on the name of his son (my Great Grandfather) who was J.L. Hardison Jr., the name is Likely John L. Hardison because he was listed as Sr. My Grandfather was John, and My aunt was "Johnny." Also I see now that Maury County TN was divided and makes up part of Marshall County. The elusive JNO could have passed in Marshall county as well. I do have DNA results posted and I know from looking a a DNA entry for Jasper Hardison that we are relatives.

I think it would help if you gave more info about J L Hardison. What was his full name? Birth date? Death date? Do you have a link to his death cert?
