Can I add the following sticker   "was descended from a signer of the Declaration of Arbroath"

to the following profile

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Von_Schubert-6

and descended from

 https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lindsay-148

see https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Relationship&action=calculate&person1_name=Lindsay-148&person2_name=Von_Schubert-6

I think the line is good

But don't want to add sticker unless it is approved

I don't see any sticker on either of those profiles, which is what your question is about, at least in the 1st line.

Your tree on wikitree is not public, so it can't be verified if you are a descendant or not.  Remember that you have to verify with sources all ancestors since people have put records on wikitree without accurate sourcing, unfortunately.  There are limited sources on some of the profiles, many that do not show sourcing to parents, so the line is not verified or sourced with primary sources.

no I am not but  the profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Von_Schubert-6 I believe is and that is the one I am asking about.  I dont want to add the sticker unless the line is approved. so see https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Relationship&action=calculate&person1_name=Lindsay-148&person2_name=Von_Schubert-6

You want to change the tag to be declaration-of-arbroath  as one tag word, with underlines, not spaces, between the words.

See the related g2g declaration-of-arbroath question

Looking at the Space page, I don't see any mention of a sticker for descendants.   Where are you seeing a mention of one?

If you go to  the profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lindsay-147

it definetely has a sticker on it

found another source see https://archive.org/stream/scotspeeragefoun01pauluoft#page/552/mode/2up

There is a sticker for the clan on the side.  The larger one at the top  is the project box, which means the profile is part of that project. That is probably used for the signers, not descendants of the signers.

Looking at the project, I see it is a descendant for that one. It looks like they are developing only a few generations of descendants. Your person is quite a bit further away.

Joining the project Section states 'we have limited the scope of the project to correctly identifying and creating comprehensive profiles for each signer and three generations of their descendants living within Scotland.'

Edited to add the joint the project statement

Thanks for your help, so there are only stickers for the first three generations. I did not read the small print here. got too excited.
Thanks Linda! Linda is correct - the Arbroath subproject will currently go only to three generations of descendants of the signatories. The "sticker" is actually a project box and should not be applied to profiles except by members of the Arbroath Team.

It would be helpful, of course, if you develop and fully source your own lineage to the signer of the Declaration of Arbroath, and you can certainly place a notation on your Von Schubert profile noting that he's a descendant.
