Who are his parents? [closed]

Phillips-34107 I have found that the obituary  says John Riley and Leona and I have found other sources on family search that say Harvey and Belle Terry . My dad just finally told me he was native american, so this being known, it makes it all the more challenging.

Hi Tiffany, it is possible there is confusion over George Caldwell and Caldwell. There is also a Ari Caldwell born about the same time.

It is best to use actual sources rather than trees.

You can always search the parents in familysearch and see which ones had which child. Takes a bit longer, but should be well worth it.

Looks like there are two different people, George and Caldwell.  George is living with his mother, Lily and step-father Marion Jeffers in the 1910 census:

Thank you. I think I found the issue I was having. Phillips-34107, Caldwell , his father is Harvey but he is not the son of Fountain , he is the son of Jehu...I think. But I have not found proof that Belle Terry and Harvey were living together with son Caldwell.

Also, the George Phillips in that link was George Cecil Phillips who a lot of times I've  confused with Caldwell.

Last, my father said that Caldwell went to a mental hospital in (Indiana)? When he got out of the War, WWll, from she'll shock. His daughter, my grandmother , signed him out. Is there way that I could locate this document ?
