Orange locked profile exists but no wikitree ID at top

I sourced a profile that has three or four others with the same
name.  To keep edit bot from merging two of them I set up a rejected merge process.  The one with the orange lock had no wikitree # at the top of the profile page.  I did find the number from the list of persons with the same name and completed the rejected merge.  Shouldn't the unnumbered profile have one at the top of the page if it can still be viewed?  Can't give wikitree URL because there is no #.

The Wiki-ID menu does not appear on profiles that do not have a public family tree, apparently because almost all of the items on that menu are related to the family tree. But the profile ID is in the URL address bar, as Dennis pointed out.
ah... no public family tree... I hadn't made that connection. Interesting.
I forgot about that.  I am so used to using the ID # when checking profiles when adding sources. Thank you.  Must remember, must remember.......
Clarification to your statement - Editbot will not merge any profiles.
Beulah may be recalling the old days when MatchBot would match profiles (based on names and dates) and propose merges, some of which would go to default approval and get merged by someone who failed to notice that (for example) one person lived in Australia and the other one lived in Alabama.

MatchBot has been retired. But it still is a good idea to mark profiles as rejected matches to deter other members from making mistakes.
Exactly the thing I was referring to.  I rejected a couple of merges proposed on such divergent profiles that were only connected by the same name.  Parents and even countries
were different.  I guess I just assumed they got merged if no one rejected them.  After I was reprimanded for approving a merge that appeared above one I did approve, and it was over six months old, I have stayed out of the merge lists except for any I have proposed within a weeks time.

I don't know why the Wiki-ID menu was missing, but you can always get the information from your browser's address bar... https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Robinson-20476

The WikiTree ID is in the green box at the left, just under the Profile Manager.

Two places I never paid attention to before.  Is the old statement "There are none so blind as they that do not see"
applicable to me?  Thanks to all who woke me up.
