New member introducing myself

Question

I found my grandfather James Porter quite by accident when on Google.  I was able to identify him because I knew his mother's maiden name was Birch.  I was able to contact a distant relative via Wikitree and received a reply giving me information about his family.  Porter is my maiden name, I am married and my married name is Green.
