Please consider adopting Nelson Johnson, his wife, and his parents, and improving the profiles and adding siblings and their spouses.

Nelson Harvey "Nelsy" Johnson (1882-1964), the son of Nelson Johnson and Marie Rasmussen, born in Pearl, Michigan, in Allegan County:

James Johnson (1858-1895), born in Assens, Fyn, Denmark, immigrated around 1878, settling in Allegan County, Michigan:

Jensine "Sena" Jensen (1860-1938), the daughter of Anders Jensen and Laurine Larsen, born in Kærum, Odense, Denmark and immigrated with her mother and siblings to Allegan County, Michigan; married James Harvey Johnson and Frederick T. Rasmussen:

Mabel S. Johnson (1886-1989), the daughter of George Henry Smith and Josephine Frances Severens, married Nelson Harvey "Nelsy" Johnson:

Please note that Denmark and The Netherlands always were and still are distinct countries. So reference to Dutch immigrants in this case is erroneous and should be replaced by Danish immigrants. Thank you!

Yes, a careless mistake, and thanks for catching it.
And I removed the tag new_netherland from this post. Some of the immigrant settlers in New Netherland were in fact Danish, but New Netherland was on the eastern seaboard, not in Michigan, and it existed in the 1600s, not the 1800s.
