Simsbury, Connecticut One Place Study

+9 votes

I have started a One Place Study for Simsbury, Connecticut. Just beginning, so I still have a good amount of work to do.

I will probably include early Granby and Canton as they were still part of Simsbury prior to 1786 and 1801.

Nicely laid out James. I was going to add it to the project page, but see you beat me to it. Thank you. I also added a link on the Connecticut Towns page.

After starting the project I came to realize that Simsbury is celebrating it's 350th Anniversary this year. What a difficult year for a celebration.

Very happy to see this.  My Simsbury ancestor was Barber-1425, Sgt Joseph Barber, b. 1744,  and most of his forebears.  Let us know if there is anything you want us to do to participate in the project.

Thank you! One thing that would be very helpful is to make sure all Simsbury profiles are connected and have good documentation. I will be working on that when I have a chance to start going through the profiles.

Wow! That's really impressive James - you've clearly put a lot of effort into collating all that information and presenting it so clearly. Well done!
