Scott County, Tennessee :Phillips family

I am having problems with my family search. I am searching for my grandfather. There are only a few records for my grandmother Phillips-34105 (Verna Mae) and in the SEA record it states that her father Caldwell is born about 1886. George CALDWELL Phillips is born in 1907 according to find a grave. His father is Harvey Phillips-34160. I have found record of his father being both Fountain Phillips and Jehu Phillips. I have looked for the last few hours and off and on most of the day...could someone help me please? Thanks!

This is the 1900 census showing Harvey with his family.  There is no 1890 census so this it probably the only place he will show up with his parents.  This census shows "Fount" is his father.  Fount and wife Marina ("Rena" in 1900) are together on the1880 census with several more children.

I think the Family Search tree is wrong.  The Jehu and Rebecca Phillips listed there would have been over sixty when Harvey was born, clearly not possible.  Rebecca's age varies from census to census, but in 1850 they were married with four children so must have been born in the 1820's.   I think the Family Search tree missed a generation and Fountain was the son of Jehu and Rebecca.  "United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch ( : 4 April 2020), Fountain Phillips in household of Jahew Phillips, Scott county, Scott, Tennessee, United States; citing family 215, NARA microfilm publication M432 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).
