I spelled last name wrong Freiberghaus not FreibUrghaus

Question

Since adding the first 4 people with this last name, I just discovered I put berg where burg should be.  The original name doesn't yet have any names.  Should I just edit these saying Freiburghaus is another name used?  I suspect this original Swiss surname has been changed more than once by Americans over the years but I would like to have it as correct as possible.

I think it's up to you. If you want to change the LNAB spelling with a note, that is an option. Or you can keep it and place the alternate spelling in the other last names line. I have also placed the new / alternate spelling in the current last name line at times (e.g. where the LNAB was O'Daniel, but he dropped the O and changed it to Daniel as an adult, I did the same).
