My great grandparents were Charlie and Frances Ellerbrock from Glandorf, Ohio. I would like to find out more about Charlie's parents. My great grandparents and my great great grandparents I believe are buried in st. John cemetery in Glandorf.

Quick check: Yeah it looks like they emigrated from Glandorf, Hanover, Germany to Glandorf, Ohio. I stumbled across this book as well. https://www.amazon.com/generations-Theodore-Ellerbrock-Glandorf-Germany/dp/B0006FCKCK

Welcome to WikiTree! I was able to find a Ellerbrock from Glandorf here on the site https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ellerbrock-86, though I'm not sure if this is one of the people you are referring to because its Glandorf, Germany and the place in Ohio is Ottawa. Maybe they named a new place in Ohio after their old town in Germany?

Welcome to WikiTree Valerie. Thank you for introducing yourself and coming to our g2g forum to ask a question and your ancestors.  You picked a great place to ask a question and I am sure that one of our wonderful genealogists will find you an answer.

As an alternative, you could upgrade to a Family Member, put Ellerbrock as a tag, and you will immediately find 327 ELLERBROCKs. Related surnames: ELLERBROEK (47) ELLERBECK (51) ELLERBROOK (7) ELLERBRUCH (2), already on WikiTree.

Good luck with your search.
