Need military category help, I have changed them many times. What is wrong? I want them to get credit for their service.

I opened the privacy temporarily on the profiles so someone can help.

Sticker for Clarence looks like he's just missing 1st Marine Division, United States Marine Corps under the unit parameter

For Joe it looks like you are just missing the parameter names (since there is no unit listed the format is putting his end date in the unit parameter). Unless there is a unit we can put in there between the start and end dates; You can make it work by doing this:

|enddate=7 Nov 1945

No problem Terry! I'm not sure what happened on Clarence, but his category is red so it didn't take correctly. Under his branch does it say United States Marine Corps? That may be the issue.

THere is still something wrong because the category looks like [[Category:1st Marine Division, United States Marine Corps, Marines, Korean War]] which is incorrect. I can't see what you have in the template (green privacy level).

I opened my dads profile, if you want to try and fix it. Was going to try the other one, but it says WW2. He was in Korea.  For the life of me I dont understand categories.

I went in and corrected the branch. You can close him back up now if you wish
