I need help correcting a surname I mistyped

Question

I type the surname for Willie Vaden as Willie Vade. Can the surname be corrected to Vaden?

Yes Charlie, go into edit page, scroll down to LNAB and click edit button, type in correct name and don’t forget to save change. You will then see the profile will have a new profile id.

Thank you Marion. Much simpler that I thought it would be since the surname-number was an index key for searching for people.

When you change the name you get a new Wikitree ID, but any reference to the previous Wikitree ID will be redirected to the new one.
