NEW MEXICO TERRITORY

I JUST LOOKED AT MY DAD'S (DELBERT BROOKS) PROFILE AND IT SAY'S THAT HE DIED IN TIERRA AMARILLA, NEW MEXICO TERRITORY, UNITED STATE OF AMERICA. I'D JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT NEW MEXICO RECEIVED IT'S STATEHOOD IN 1912 AND HAS NOT BEEN REFERRED TO AS A TERRITORY SINCE. CAN THE RECORDS BE UPDATED

I see a colored padlock on Delbert's profile and I see that you are the Profile Manager.  You are, therefore, the only one who can correct that location. So far as I know, you need only remove the words United States of America

Other than that action on your part, the list of suggested locations that pop up are in the command of www.familysearch.org

While there have been comments about how accurate the suggested locations are, there's is nothing WikiTree can do to change them.

You can choose not to use the suggestions about locations.

New Mexico Territory existed from September 9,1850 to January 8, 1912.  So it depends on when he died if he died in 1912.
