Hello all,

I am looking for a suggestion or some help for records of Ratoath, County Meath, Ireland.

I have a Francis "Frank" Duffy and Margaret Newman that married 21 Nov 1815 in Ratoath, Curragha, County Meath, Ireland.

I don't find him on the 1830s tithe applotment books but I find the baptisms of several children in Ratoath.    I am looking for anything that might help connect to a prior generations or someone who has done lots of research and put family groups together.

Thank-you

Marianne

Hi Marianne, I see you have not created their profiles here on Wikitree yet, It is much easier for us to expand on your research if you do create the profiles and add your research to them.

It sounds like your finding out that you're getting into the time frame of few irish records. I don't have a lot of experience in working in Meath, but I'll try to direct to the ones we have.

The National archives of Ireland has put together course at Family Research 2016 on the main sources for that time. After that you may find something at Space:Sources-Ireland-Province-County
