Looking for Peters in Rees/Haldern Germany prior to 1635

Question

Hallo! Ich frage mich, wenn Sie oder jemand Sie wissen, jede Forschung auf dem Peters Familie aus Rees / Haldern Deutschland getan hat? Meine Mutter starb vor 5 Monaten und hat recherchiert unserer Vorfahren zurück bis ins frühe 1600 und ich bin jetzt versuchen, ihren Traum in die Forschung zu folgen. Ich fühle mich wie werde ich im Kreis und frage mich, ob Sie wissen, dass Online-Informationen, die ich benutze, um die Erweiterung meiner Forschung wissen konnte halten. Ich habe versucht ancestry.com und familysearch.org aber wieder wurde gefragt, ob du auf jeder veröffentlichten Informationen, die online konnte das wissen? Ich habe einige Namen usw. Vielen Dank für Ihre Zeit gelistet!

Für deine Suche fangst du besser bei die Gemeinde Rees/Haldern an, oder im betroffenen Kreis (Rees)

Ich sehe du warst schon bei http://compgen.de/...

Weiteres was ich dort gefunden habe:

Ich kann dir gerne helfen bei der Suche, obwohl ich in die Niederlanden bin... Auch können wir auf Englisch kommunizieren, wenn das einfacher ist ;-)

Hello Mrs. Bruns,

I wander if there would be a link with my grandfather Eugene Charles Peeters. We all have European roots, although we were born and raised in Indonesia.

My mother, Evy Jansen-Peeters, told me a few years ago, that her father received a letter and documentation concerning a will (testament) send by German ancestors with the request to pick up his share of the will!

This was before the WW2. My grandfather never expected to go to Europe and put the letter aside. This means that my ancestors from mother's side originally came from Germany.

More info not available.

Maybe someone can give me some answers concerning abovementioned, as the Indonesian authorities destroyed many Dutch documentation after Soekarno was president!

hello Ron,

Do you have any name/town that links the letter to Germany?
Even when the Indonesian part of the information has been lost, something in either Germany or the Netherlands should link "Peeters" to Indonesia.

Maybe you might find something at the WieWasWie.nl website, seeing as your grandfather (1900-1958) was born well after the 1815 cut-off for the Dutch public records.

Why am I referring to the Netherlands? Peeters and Indonesia do not seem to have direct links to Germany. They do to the Netherlads though.

If you however have a name of a town in Germany, you can start looking there.
