Which Alabama Townsends have that story? It’s a new one on me.

The Family story went to my Aunt, Irene Counts; by her Mother, Mary Jane Wilson; via Matilda Townsend; and is written down in a document by Irene.

Pocahontas may have as many as 100,000 descendants.  The authoritaive book is “Pocahontas’ Descendants” by  Brown and Myers.  They issue updates, as well.
