Welcome to WikiTree Roger! You have come to the right place. Preserving our shared ancestry is a common goal here.

You will need to upgrade your membership to add your families profiles. There are a lot of people here working together. If you have any questions you can ask your Greeter or ask here in G2G.

I was going to join wikitree and add my database but I see you have a 5,000 name limit.  My database is much larger than that.

You will still be able to add it. You will need to split it though. This is the help page on Splitting a GEDCOM. It will explain how to do it so that you will be able to add those in your data base.
