ANZACs of Interest: Major General Ewen Sinclair-MacLagan

Scottish-born British soldier, Ewen Sinclair-MacLagan, became an ANZAC when he commanded the 3rd Australian Brigade at Gallipoli in 1915 and on the Western Front in 1916. Having been awarded a DSO in the Second Boer War, Ewen added a CB and CMG for his ANZAC service.  What's more, he took a little bit of Australia back to Britain in 1919: his wife, Edith, and daughter, Isobel.  His bio and family tree still need some work, although he is connected to the Tree.
