DB Error 896?

I spend every Sunday working on my "Suggestions" list (you know...all those profile errors made in the first months of getting here) and I have one that I have no idea how to clear. It was entered by the previous profile manager in a very complicated template, and I need help.

The error is somewhere in the "MLA citation | title= "Early Pennsylvania Births..." but I have NO idea how to fix that complicated citation structure. Help, please?

Hi, Carole --

The MLA Citation template is not an approved template. See: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:MLA_citation

The error that pops up doesn't indicate that as a reason, but if you wanted to re-write the citation without using a template, you could, and that would also remove the error.

I created a Wikitree Space page for A Genealogy of Meisser Family. That will give you the Source Example to use in the Sources section and the Inline Citation example to use in the profile.  Frederick Meiser is on Page 333 using this url

https://archive.org/details/AGenealogyOfMeisserFamily/page/n347/mode/2up

The problem in the MLA Citation for the Early Pennsylvania Births is that before 'repository' there are 2, instead of only 1, '|' lines between the parameters, one is on one line, and the other is on line previous without a parameter following it.

I created a Wikitree Space page for Early Pennsylvania Births, 1675-1875

Thank you so much for the links, Linda! I'm still lost on the Library pages. I need to spend a week doing nothing but looking through them!

I keep these two Space pages bookmarked because of the volumes of sources found for Family Genealogies and Location genealogy
