Why do children of person born 1498 have Public privacy status?

I am not interested in working on this family, it is totally outside my area of research. But these children keep showing up when I do a Luttrell search. Father is Andrew Luttrell, born 1498. Four of his listed children, Luttrell-451, 452, 453 and 454 have no birth or death dates and have Public privacy when they should have Open privacy. Can birth and/or death dates be added for them?

When gedcoms are imported, the privacy level setter, probably just looks at the empty dates and errs on the cautious side.

You can ask to have the profiles opened to white:unlocked. In the lower right corner of the public profile page is [open profile request]  Simply click on the link, check the box and push the submit button. It takes usually about 24 hours to open a profile.

I just looked.  The children all are open, but these were not created by gedcom - they were created by entry by the profile manager.

I also proposed a merge between the 2 husbands of one of the children - they have the same name, one has an about birth year - they both have no other data.  These profiles were created about a year apart!!!!
