Project Box for living person doesn't show name?

A member of my project notes that the name of the person profiled does not show up in a newly-applied project box when the person is not marked as deceased.

I see this G2G discussion, and I'd like to verify: is it correct on all project boxes that the name will not display if the person is shown as still living? And has this always been the case, if known?

He also reports that the name on a red-locked, but deceased profile is also not showing the person's name.

This is correct - it will not show, even if you are able to see the profile of the person. The level of privacy blocks the project box's ability to display the name. When the profile is given a more open level of privacy, the name will then display.

On a side note, other project boxes have also experienced an issue if they are added to a profile and on first save they display an incorrect name. A second edit seems to fix that, even if all you do is go back and add a single space to the biography. I'm not entirely sure why this seems to happen, but at least I know how to fix it.

Interestingly, Scott, I had a profile that I changed the project box on the other day and noticed either yesterday or today that the name was for a different person. I removed the box, saved, and added it back on, and it fixed itself.

Thanks for the info on the privacy level vs. the name display. That explains it.
