been there which is why I posted question. Note the prices they want for this book several hundred to a thousand, w no guarantee it has any more information than Collins Peerage

Hi David,

Are you looking for anything in particular?  The book is available at the Family History Center (main branch in Salt Lake City).

It's been a few years since I reviewed - took copies of some pages - images of paintings of some of the early Peerage (Thomas, Baron Laughton; Sir William, Knight; Thomas, 1st Baronet; Thomas, 2nd Baronet; John, 3rd Baronet) and pictures/paintings of some of the property holdings (Pelham House in Lewes; Laughton Place; Halland House; Stanmer).

I don't believe it has anything you can't find in Collins Peerage.  I have some articles that question Collins pedigree and believe that the Pelham family was of Norman origin (from various volumes of the Sussex Archaeological Collections, also at the Family History Center).
