I received a suggestion that Bosman Clifton's profile was in the high level category American Revolution. And it is. I can not determine why it is in that category. There's nothing in the profile to put it there - unless the 1776 sticker puts it there. Which would be a sticker problem, not a me problem. :)
So ... what's up and how can I fix it?
It would be because the unit listed isn't listed as a category thus the sticker is bumping the relevant category to the American Revolution category which is high level.
Have a look at this category https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Hall%27s_Delaware_Regiment%2C_American_Revolution and if it is suitable change the units=Hall's Regiment Delaware Militia to units=Hall's Delaware Regiment, American Revolution and see if that removes the American Revolution category.
Ah, since you are the PM, it is yours to correct. That's "The buck stops here." thing
There was a recent discussion also involving this sort of notice and by recent I mean in the last two weeks
Anyway, I am not certain this page will answer your question, or it might do so obliquely ... Help:Categorization -- at least I hope it helps
There are lots of those Suggestions because they changed the '1776' sticker to '1776 Sticker'. Many people had the '1776' sticker with no information or only had the Category of American Revolution. It should have had the rank, unit / units, and dates, but many templates didn't have that information. It the other information was included, they are not always in the 'high category', but all the 'old 1776' templates will need to be converted to the new '1776 Sticker' coding, which only has rank and unit. Unit is very specific, so the category should be determined from the Category builder 'icon' above the biography section. It now needs American Revolution at the end of the unit which converts to the Category name.
