Tagging Photos

A process for tagging people in a photo has appeared. It does the tagging OK a message of the tag location on the phtoto appears in the comments section.Then nothing else happens there is no pop up tag on the photo. Is this still a work in progress, a quirk in my browser or am I missing something?

I will answer my own question :-) The photo tagging comes from the Wikitree Turbo chrome extension. Which I thought was only an improved search function and I was going to look at this in the future. It also tags photos. As I use chrome in dark mode the instructions are unreadable. This is one feature that if built into Wikitree would be very useful for those weddiing images with lots of people. I have disabled the extension temporarily until I have time to look at it more carefully.
