Order of service as US SECNAV

I'm working on finding/creating profiles for US Secretaries of the Navy (soon to be followed by other branches), and have a "what if" type of question/observation.

In the Category:US_Secretaries_of_the_Navy, all individuals are listed alphabetically. That seems logical, unless you wanted to see (at a glance) who served in which order.

Is there a way/would it be beneficial/helpful to present this list in order of service rather than alphabetical?

This would obviously only work for individuals whose profiles are unrestricted (i.e., no longer living), so there would continue to be a need for some to be listed alphabetically (for example, Warner, Webb, and Mabus are still alive and their profiles are restricted).

I see no reason to sort a category in order of service. People are looking for names when they search. The order can be displayed in a table or list on the free-space page.

Also note that sorting is done manually, so you would be talking about a lot of maintenance when/if others add names to the category.
