Are you saying she died aged three, or that she was born around 1821?

Perhaps this is her, transcription is saying father is Austin Ward, but records doesn’t say she is daughter. She is housekeeper

If I am reading the above 1841 census correctly, the suggestion is that Louise Carter's parents are Joseph Carter and Lucy Carter.

If it is, then that is incorrect.  Lucy Carter, daughter of Joseph Carter married, as a spinster, James Summerfield at Great Doddington on 10 October  1842.
Then maybe Louisa is his daughter and Lucy’s sister or Lucy’s illegitimate child, in which case Joseph is Louisa’s grandfather.
Hi Marion I think i have found Lois or[ Louisa the correct name] Her parents according to the 1841 census as being Joseph and Lucy Carter. And she was a housekeeper for Austin Ward of Earls Barton in 1851 , She also had a son named Charles and Joseph was his Grandfather. Many thanks for your assistance.

Regards Andy
