Birth dates after 1940 can only be searched within the watchlists of logged-in members.

I am looking for someone born between 1945 and 1949. He died between 1971 and 1973 (possibly only between '71 and '72). I typed in his death date as well, and received the message "Birth Dates after 1940 can only be searched within the Watchlists of logged-in members. I do understand the privacy reason, and I have read the other question dealing with this notification. Why the privacy issue with someone who is deceased?

I have FamilySearch, and not even their databases have anything on the person I am looking for. I also have Ancestry, but am not as of yet a full member. I guess some records are not available yet. I was hoping he would be on WikiTree.

Name: Larry Anderson (possibly Laurence or Lawrence?)

Birth: Between 1942 and 1950

Residence: Tennessee between 1970 and 1972, possibly near Hamilton County

Marriage: Between 1971 and 1972, either in October or November

Spouse: Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Wojtowicz

Death: Between 1971 and 1972, likely in December, about seven weeks after marriage

Cause of Death: Natural Causes; He had heath problems that caused him to grow rapidly. His internal organs, as I recall hearing, could not keep up.

Ancestry Note: I have created a profile for him on Ancestry, hoping that it would turn up some information.

You could do a search with the other parameters you know and leave off the birth year.  That shouldn't give you an error message.
Thank you. I have looked as you suggested, but to no avail. I am unable to find anyone who could have been him as of yet. Until FamilySearch finds more sources, I will have to wait a while before continuing my search.
You could try listing the details that you know about the person here (leaving out mentions of living people).  If there's information to be found, your fellow Wikitree members are likely to find it.
Thank you. I shall do that immediately.

I'm going to "answer" your question so that it pops back up in the questions list of others.  Due to a quirk of the way G2G works, revised questions and comments don't cause a question to move back up the list.

This will be a tough one due to the common name and that it's relatively modern.  Is Elizabeth Wojtowicz the one who appears in the 1969-1972 yearbook entries for Tennessee Temple High School?  1972

If you are speaking of the Baptist Highschool/University by name of Tennessee Temple, then yes, the Elizabeth Wojtowicz of the 1969-1972 yearbook entries is the Elizabeth Wojtowicz I am referring to as the wife of Larry Anderson. I am unable to see the entries for my membership does not allow for me to see any documents. Elizabeth Wojtowicz attended Tennessee Temple during those years, and that is where they met.

Sorry. I thought you had a subscription.  Link

There was a Larry Anderson listed in that same edition on the "First Year Bible School" page.  I don't know what that means, but they are clearly not all high school students.  I think it's saying that he's from Huntsville, AL.  Could this be him?  Link

Did he die from acromegaly?

I do believe it is him, indeed. We used to have a picture of them on their wedding day, but I do not remember what happened to it. Elizabeth married my grandfather about two years after Larry died. They were both college age. Yes, I believe it was acromegaly. I do not remember exactly what the name was, for I only learned about him years after her death in 2004.

Looks like the Bible School was the precursor to Tennessee Temple University, so Larry was older than Betty.  At least now we have a lead that he came from Huntsville.

Thank you. You have been a great help. I had no idea where he was from nor how to access the student records that can be accessed after all these years.

Found him again.  He's in the 1969 yearbook in New Hope, Alabama.  Based on his class, Ancestry is estimating his age as 16.

Thank you. With his being, according to your calculations, older than her, it is safe to say he was probably born around 1948. She was born in 1949.

Ancestry calculates he was born around 1953. This would make him younger than her, and only about 18 or at the time of their marriage. She was about 22 at the time.

It is interesting to see the difference in calculations.
Are we on the wrong trail?  Betty Wojtowicz was a senior in the 1972 yearbook, so if she was 18/19, that would put her birth around 1953/4.  1949 seems way too early for someone who was a senior in high school in 1972.

I found a bunch more yearbook photos for Larry Anderson at New Hope HS on MyHeritage.  He was a basketball player which makes sense for someone with gigantism or acromegaly.  If you don't have access to MyHeritage, you can send me a message with your email address and I'll send them to you.
Oh!!  I see the error of my ways.  What Ancestry is calling the yearbook for "Tennessee Temple High School" actually includes multiple schools, including a college, and that's where she appears.
I believe we are mostly on the right trail. Betty's birth certificate states her birth was December 10, 1949. The record of her birth was recorded on December 21, 1949. I do not have access to MyHeritage at this point. Thank you ever so much. There may be some discrepancies in the dates.
