G2G: Unsourced Profile has no Edit button to add a source

Question

Florence Cook [Cook-9998] is a public profile, but has limits so only Trusted list can edit. Why does it appear on the list if we can't add a source during this Source-A-Thon Event??

I left my first source in the comments section, but this seems like a waste of time.

Some of these profiles that you can't edit have never had a legit source added in their existance of over a decade.  And they solicit additions.  For some, the profile's person has been dead for 50 years, or more.

I'm getting tired of this.  I'm now up to a half dozen sourceless profiles I'm locked out of that I could have added legitimate sources to.  Hate to be snarky, but just left this message on one, who has several of these profiles:

"No edit button, no record source entry. "After 12 years with the profile, you should have listed at least 1 legitimate source citation. I've found several in just a few minutes, but can't enter them. Get busy on the profile or open it to others!"

The profile is green locked (privacy lock in upper right corner).

This means that you can view everything on the profile, but you cannot make any edits without being added to the Trusted List. You would have to ask to be added to the Trusted List first, get approved, and then you would be able to make the edits.

And I was hoping it fit the Open Profile Request criteria, but unfortunately, it won't be "born over 150 years ago" until 19 November 2020.
