LNAB for adopted child [closed]

I have a family with an adopted son. I do not know his natural parents' names or his birth name. I know that he does not get connected to the adopted parents, but is it the policy to use Unknown as LNAB and the name of the adoptive parents as the current last name, or to use the name of the adoptive parents as his LNAB?

If he was adopted as an infant, you can use the adopted parents' name for LNAB, otherwise Unknown. Add any more info in the bios of all concerned parties and use the double brackets with pipes to make links between them.

Thanks. In this case, he was adopted sometime between the ages of 2 and 12, so I've used Unknown as the LNAB.
