Is it Larsen not Larson?

Question

My great grandmothers name on her marriage certificate is Ida Larson and based on what we know was born on October 23, 1865 in Oslo, Norway.  Is it Larsen not Larson?  She married my great grandfather William Harrison Russell in Sidney Nebraska on June 17, 1885 and passed away on September 29, 1891 in Sedro Wolley, Washington?

It should be rather LarSEN (since he must be Norwegian).

LarSON is the Swedish version.

Wojciech Kauczynski has given what is undoubtedly the generally correct answer.  However, you should note that orthography in centuries past was much less regular than today.  In historical, not genealogical research, I have seen documents in which a name was spelled two or three different ways by the same clerk in a single document.
