Profile name in edit mode shows up funny

Hi

When you look at any profile in edit mode the profile name show as follow in all my profiles

Edit data, biographical text and sources for Francina Christina [Cortje-3] below. 

I notice this for the past view days, Normally it will show the name and lnab without the wiki id in brackets.

You are saying that in edit mode, the name of the person in the profile AND in [ ] their Wiki ID# is displayed, and this has begun to occur recently ?

This is a phenom that is occurring on the profiles I manage, also.  

It does no harm that I can think of, and is no doubt due to the massive number of tweaks recently implemented -- last week, I think, or the week before ... I don't think it is one of the many bugs that erupted when the tweaks were implemented

I think that its current condition, the one you and I have observed, IS the "fix", it was tweaked to BE that way. I doubt it will be removed, if that's what you mean?  I think it will remain there because it is not a bug and not an error, but is instead something "they" wanted (them that wrote the software)

"They" are fixing the bugs, but this [WikiTree id #] is here to stay

Due to the recent background coding changes, there was an issue with the WikiTree profile-ID no longer being present in the URL of the Edit profile page (replaced by the associated UserID, u=nnnnnnnn). In their work flow, many people copy/paste the WikiTree profile-ID (just a couple examples: when participating in challenges or to create profile links elsewhere). So I believe that they added the WikiTree profile-ID to the text there on the Edit page to facilitate easily copying the WikiTree profile-ID again.
