Is something wrong with G2g Answer button today? [closed]

Question

I've posted answers on a few different topic posts this morning. Only 1 has shown up in my contributions of g2g, I've gone back and looked at one of the questions where I did answer, & did also edit my post for typos, & reread it after posting... have gone back and its as if the answer posts were never there, not hidden.. just gone????

My understanding is that an Answer only appears in your Contributions list if the Question was linked to a profile. Is that perhaps what you are observing? I remember being stumped by the same thing when I first noticed that.

no, I mean the actual posted answers are just gone they are not in the posted questions.. as if I never created them, and never edited them.

I haven't seen any reports of issues other than this one, but I'll keep an eye out.

yes there were at least 3 others that I'd posted on, that aren't showing up.  2 for sure I had reread the "answer posts" and edited to correct typos, even stating this reason as I saved the new versions. both are gone.. one was on https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1031213/ok-who-was-it-and-why?show=1031213#q1031213...

closing this.. pretty sure I know what happened.. it just doesn't matter anymore.
