How to categorize a Governor-General of the Philippines

0 votes
Luke Edward Wright was the 2nd Governor-General of the Philippines (after William Howard Taft) during the Theodore Roosevelt administration, before being named Ambassador to Japan and Secretary of War.

I cannot find a category for Governors-General of the Philippines on WikiTree. Wikipedia lists Governors-General of the Philippines under a single category that spans the time from 1565-1946, during which time the country was ruled by Spain (96 governors from 1865-1898), England, USA (4 military governors, 1898-1902; 11 governors-general 1902-1935; 4 High Commissioners, 1935-1942 & 1945-1946), and Japan (4 military governors, 1942-1945).

The category Philippine Politicians seems only to cover the period following independence.

Would Governors-General of the Philippines be a good category to establish?

I would go with Philippines Politicians unless there are going to be a bunch of the Governors-General profiles created.

As the tree is built out further, there could potentially be 115 profiles of Governors. Could this be a sub-category under Philippines Politicians?
This needs discussion within the categorization project. You are a member, why not make a post to the group there? This requires some collaboration.
