English burial registry: what does D or HD mean after these names?

Here is a page from a 19th Century London Deaths and Burials register.

Each name is marked either D or HD.  What does that indicate?

Can't find the exact answer, but the consensus seems to be that the D stands for "duty" related to burial-fee type. The H seems to stand for "Half".
