Who are the parents of Deborah (Willis) Greenlee b 1750

Question

Just about every other ancestry/genealogy website except wikitree lists Deborah Willis as daughter of Lewis Willis. However, I see that wiki has removed this connection because there is no proof. I also see that the posted article (1906?) and other writings about Lewis Willis do not mention Deborah, and note that she would have been born when he was quite young. In addition she is not mentioned in his will. I am trusting that wiki tree is the one site that is correct.

But PLEASE - can anyone out there help the many of us connected to Deborah Willis Greenlee find out who our ancestors are??? Who ARE her parents?

I've been researching this Willis line and haven't found any success in locating information that gives any clues of whom Deborah's parents were. 

I recently learned that there is also the Willis Family of Long Island [http://longislandgenealogy.com/ligwillis.html] I don't know if these two families are related.

This is so frustrating. She must have been a close relative to Lewis's family - people are saying the dna matches, and of course she named her son Lewis Willis Greenlee. From what you know, is there a chance she went by another name? She is of the name Willis and lived in the same area...surely she is closely related. Also - and I know this is far out, but apparently Lewis Willis started having children quite young - if his date of birth of '35 is correct, and his first child is born in '50. Is it possible Deborah was born also really early, and she was maybe brought up by someone else? 

Any insight you have is so welcome.

Yes. Her parents, previously listed as Lewis Willis and somebody else, have been removed. Her profile is still active - the link is active. I don't know why it didn't work for you?
