RootSearch is an independent application rather than part of WikiTree itself, so it runs off a copy of the data rather than the live data. Most of the time the copy and the live data are in sync, but sometimes there is an issue that delays the copy being updated. When that happens a recently created profile won't yet exist in the copy and that is when you get the message you describe. Normally it fixes itself in a few minutes, but sometimes it can take an hour or so. During those times I normally just launch RootSearch from an older profile and manually change the data to search for.
