I realize that both my sister-in-law, Patti (Jacob) Hughey are both more closely related to Oliver than I am, but I am19 degrees from him connected through both of my relatives.

Naturally I am not blood kin.

ME!!!! Finally, I'm closer to somebody!

Cousin Oliver and I are 16 degrees and 8th cousins 4X removed through David Stone. I was in Boston about 2 years ago and took a photo of son, Gregory's tombstone (my direct ancestor) in the Old Burying Ground in Cambridge!

Dear David,

Oliver Holmes-2055 (Jr.) and I are 12th cousins, 2ce removed.  That is a blood connection through [[Thomas Wood-8994]].   His father, Holmes-2054, is arguably more famous. Father is 11th cousin, 3x removed.  Interesting.  -NGP
